Buckeye Wet Well

Name: Buckeye Wet Well Marketing: Industrial Wastewater Application: Food Manufacturing Wash Down Size: 10′ and 12′ Wet Wells Location: Wooster, Ohio Description: These large 10’ & 12’ diameter wet wells will serve a new dairy foods manufacturing facility. Due to the wash down temperatures and corrosive nature and high temperatures of the waste, a solid vinyl ester resin with a double nexus liner was used to build these wet wells. The 10’ duplex and 12’ triplex discharge systems utilized a polypropylene plastic fusion bonded pipe system. All base elbows, rails and discharge pipes were pre-installed. The wet well received four different inlets, with three of the inlets utilizing custom build trash baskets on rail systems. All inlet hubs were factory installed, with flexible connections. The station was completed with all pipe systems, and inlet hubs, ready for field hook-up, which saved considerable construction time while providing a truly “Engineered” solution for this site.
