Wet Well and Valve Vault Resources
This wet well was unique in the use of WEMCO pumps with pre-rotational bases. This station utilized a set of duplex pumps for redundancy, with a third pump for an over-ride pump. Due to the size of the pre-rotational basins and the weight of the base elbows, this was an exceptionally challenging custom built wet well. The pipe system utilized
8″ DR 11 HOPE pipe, with 316 S.S. rails and hardware. The wet well was designed to have a 12″ top concrete slab,
with access covers to finish grade, using safety grates for fall protection.
